Ex-MP Shamsul Huq dead UNB, Kurigram Former MP and Awami League leader Alhaj Shamsul Huq Chowdhury died of old age complications at his residence at Kamar Tangaria village in Bhurungamari upazila here on Wednesday night. He was 75. He left behind his wife, two sons and four daughters and a host of friends and relations to mourn his death. Shamsul Huq Chowdhury was elected MP three times from Kurigram-1 in 1970, 1973 and 1979. He will be buried at his family graveyard after namaz-e-janaza at about 3pm on Thursday.
