Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Secretary General Kutubuddin Ahmed met with South Korean counselor Shin Jong Yoon at the embassy office here on Tuesday.

During the meeting, Kutubuddin and Shin Jong Yoon discussed some matters relating to the country's sports, where South Korea could make special contributions.

The BOA secretary general requested the Korean counselor to arrange some Korean coaches for seven sporting disciplines ahead of the South Asian Games to be held in Bangladesh in 2009.

The disciplines are taekwondo, swimming, shooting, athletics, badminton, table tennis and archery.
