CSE closes higher yesterday

Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher yesterday (Tuesday) with the gainers dominated the losers. The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) gained by 0.14 percent to close at 8656.76 points. The CSE-30 Index also rose by 0.02 percent to close at 7572.43 points. A total of 143 issues were traded today. Of them, 83 gained, 55 declined and five remained unchanged. Some 2,888,370 shares and debentures worth Tk 35.91 crore changed hands yesterday.
