RAB members recovered four live bombs from Guptapara

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) recovered four live cocktail bombs from an open place on the New Cross Road in Guptapara area of Rangpur city yesterday noon, RAB and police sources said.

Getting information, a RAB team from Rangpur camp led by Captain Mamun and ASP Sayedul Islam conducted a sudden raid at the place near the house of one Musabberul Islam alias Bilu and recovered the four live cocktail bombs in abandoned condition. RAB soon put those into water for defusing. However, none was arrested during the raid.

After primary examinations, RAB handed over the recovered cocktail bombs to Kotwali police station after filing a general dairy in this connection.
