CSE closes higher yesterday

Trading at Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) closed higher yesterday though the losers dominated the gainers.

The CSE All Share Price Index (CASPI) gained by 0.73 percent to close at 8719.14 points. The CSE-30 Index also rose by 1.62 percent to close at 7823.78 points. A total of 143 issues were traded today. Of them, 54 gained, 88 declined and only one remained unchanged. Some 2,395,560 shares and debentures worth Tk 35.62 crore changed hands today.
