Neena's Nina lost her elder sister

It is with great sadness, I have witnessed, virtually though, the recent tragic death of Rashida Muhiuddin, the elder sister of one of my childhood school friends - Nina. We all attended, once upon a time, the same school located at an ex-country location. Nina and I were in the same class. I have had the benefit of knowing Late Rashida Muhiuddin pretty closely both as my school senior and my friend's elder sister.

Rashida Mohiuddin had a personality of her own - apparently, an excellent combination of extrovert and introvert personality traits, among other things. She was social, people-oriented and considerate. She was a great soul. I will indeed miss her but will cherish fond memories of her through the time to come.

May Almighty Allah bless her in Heaven! May Almighty Allah give Nina, family members and concerned others courage and strength to bear the irreparable loss of Rashida Apa! Ameen.

Nuclear plant for electricity

In Bangladesh, due to the shortage of electricity, the economic units of the country are experiencing a setback. The cost of production and marketing has increased in many folds. Particularly the small industrial units are the worst sufferers. If this situation persists for some more days, there would be a serious adverse effects on Bangladesh's economy. Under this critical situation, we will have to search out alternative sources for electricity generation.Setting up of nuclear power plants could be a pragmatic option towards solving our ever increasing power demands. In this regard, I would like to draw the attention of the USAID and like to request them to assess the possibility of setting up nuclear power plants for electricity generation in Bangladesh under its technical and financial cooperation program.
