Visiting Chief of the Air Staff of Pakistan Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed passed a busy day in the city Tuesday, as he called on Defence Secretary Kamrul Hasan and visited Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) and Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC). He called on Defence Secretary Kamrul Hasan at the Defence Ministry and exchanged greetings.

Joint Secretary (W&D) of the Defence Ministry Brig Gen Shah M Sultan Uddin Iqbal, Bir Protik and Joint Secretary (General) M Ebadot Ali was also present on the occasion.

Later, Air Chief Marshal Tanvir went to Mirpur Cantonment and visited MIST. On his arrival here, the Pakistan Air Chief was received by Commandant of the MIST Major Geneal Abdul Wadud. Then, he attended a short brief about MIST and also went round its classrooms and laboratories. Before departure, he signed the visitors' book.

Later, Pakistan Air Chief also visited DSCSC, where he was received by its Commandant Maj Gen Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan, said an ISPR release today.
