The Aboriginal students of Rajshahi University (RU) condemned on the attack on hilly village at Baghichhori in Rangamati on April 20 and demanded punishment to the people responsible who ransacked houses at the village on Thursday.

The Aboriginal students of RU organized a press conference at RU press club on Thursday at 10 am.

People living in the hilly tracts are being deprived of many facilities for many years. We demand the permanent solution of land problems, right of self-protection of hilly villagers, the press release said signed by Mecsuel Chakma, Horendra Nath Sing leaders of aboriginal students.

The release also said, we demand legal investigation of inhuman incident, compensation of sufferings and punishment to the persons responsible.
