Mass awareness to resist child trafficking stressed Our Correspondent, Jessore A total of twenty-two thousand primary school teachers and students brought out a big rally to raise awareness among the village people of Bagerpara upazila against child trafficking on 17th April morning at about 9-30 AM which was a record of the country against child trafficking for the first time. This rally was headed by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Bagerpara Md Abdus Samad. At the same time 95 primary school teachers and students of Bagerpara upazila villages brought out this rally including upazila primary school teachers and students. They chanted slogans no more child trafficking will be occurred from this upazila. When contacted UNO Bagerhpara Md Abdus Samad told this correspondent that they have taken a decision to bring out rally against child trafficking before two months. This is the first time in Bangladesh to build up awareness against child trafficking among the village peoples. He also said that they will do so after every two months.n
