The New Nation - Internet Edition

This refers to Dr. Kamrunnahar Lovely's write-up "Equal rights of Women" published today (13th April) in your esteem newspaper. I protest and strongly condemn your footnote at the end of the article in which you wrote "Views expressed here are of the writer".

Why can't say you support the writer or reject her views or you don't say anything if you're so afraid of the bigots of Islam and let the readers take her side or refute the views instead of writing this footnote? What you're you really afraid of?

I support Lovely's views one-hundred percent with my heart and soul and those who don't, let them come with their rational arguments. And why don't you initiate a debate of sensible people and find out what the nation should do on the question of equal rights in the society of our mothers, sisters and daughters? Shall we discriminate them or bring them as equal partners to each and every male citizen? Come on, Sirs, let us talk. As editor you do have the responsibility to guide the nation in the right direction.
