BTRC Chairman Maj Gen (Retd) Monzurul Alam on Wednesday visited the office of GrammeenPhone (GP), the country's leading cellphone operator. The GP high officials made presentations on the GP's achievement and future planning during the visit. They also discussed with the BTRC chairman their activities and problems. BTRC commissioner SM Monir Ahmed, deputy director M Rafiqul Islam and media consultant Abbas Faruque were also present in the meeting. This was the first-ever visit by the BTRC Chairman to the GP office.
