Through your esteemed daily we would like to thank the Election Commission for registration of voters and issuing them with National Identity card. We would however like to mention here that the stamp size photograph of the voter affixed in the Identity Card is not clear, distinct and recognisable, it is of a very poor quality and standard. We would like to suggest and request the Election Commission to replace the ugly photograph of the Identity Card with a clearly and easily recognisable colour or black and white better quality stamp size photograph to be supplied by the Identity Card holder at his/her own cost if so desired by the Election Commission.

In this connection, the Election Commission may kindly work out and let the voters know the modalities to replace the illegible photograph of the National Identity Card with a better one.
