After a play less first day due to rain, visiting South Africa Academy team was 295 for 8 in 83 overs in the 1st innings against GP-BCB Academy team at stumps on the 2nd day of the first four-day match at the Jessore Divisional Stadium (JDS) on Saturday.

Reeza Hendricks was the star of the day as his spectacular 131 runs off 188 balls with 19 fours putting the tourists on the verge of crossing the 300-mark. Shadle van Schalkwyk was also impressive with the bat as he contributed 64 runs off 100 balls with seven fours and two sixes.

Pacer Nazmul Hossain claimed three wickets for 51 runs while Arafat Sunny took two for 66.
