A school student was killed in an accident at Richi point of Habiganj-Lakhai road under sadar upazila on Monday morning.

Eye witnesses said the accident took place when a Sylhet bound bus from Lakhai crashed a student of Class III named Chayon, 9, when he was crossing the road at Richi point at around 11 AM on Monday.

Local people managed to stop the killer bus and vandalize it.

They also put barricade on the road for two hours.

Being informed police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
