Leaders of different organisations of local journalists including Netrakona Press Club, Netrakona Reporters Club and Netrakona Journalists Welfare Association strongly condemned the attack on BSS Bhaban.

In separate statements they demanded immediate arrest and exemplary punishment of the attackers.

The signatories to the statements included general secretary fo Netrakona Press Club Mahbubul Kibria Chowdhury Halim, president of Netrakona Reporters Club Humayun Kabir Salim, General Secretary of the Reporters Club Chandan Chakraborty, Senior Vice President of Netrakona Journalists Welfare Association Faqrul Haque and editor of Dainik Jananetra Patrika M. Muklesur Rahman.
