Md Amiruddin Ahmed, former BNP MP of Kishoreganj died at Hart Foundation Hospital in Dhaka on Sunday. He was 88.

He left belind his wife, one son, six daughters and a host of relatives, friends and well wishers to mourn his death.

His Namaz-e-janaza was held at Nikli Eidgah Maidan and he was buried at family graveyard at Nikli.

Former Speaker Advocate Abdul Hamid expressed his condolence and conveyed his sympathy to the members of the bereaved family. Dr Osman Farook, former Education Minister also condoled his death.
