Recently actor Jitu Ahsan acted as a thief in a drama titled 'Mao Jorinar Gao' directed by Ashraful Alam Ripon. Jitu said, 'I enjoyed the character while acting. I tried to portray the character properly and I think the audience will like my acting too.
Jitu acted in some other dramas titled 'Esho' directed by Choyonika Chowdhury.
Tarin acted as his co actor. 'In this drama I am a marriage event organizer. I go to Tarin's house to organize her marriage party and in one stage I like her and propose her. Tarin also respect my proposal and then the plot changes', he added.

Shabnoor in double role
Daliwood's renowned actress Shabnoor acted in twins' characters in the film titled 'Valobashar Dushmon' directed by Wakil Ahmed. This film is going to be released today. Film actor Late Manna and actor Shakib Khan are the co actors of Shabnoor of this social action plot based film. Shaboor said, I tried to show my best quality of acting in this film and I believe all kinds of audience will like this film.'

'Banglalink Sagar Utshab' held at Kuakata

Three-day long 'Banglalink Sagar Utshab' successfully held at Kuakata from 26-28 March to revive and attract the attention to the SIDR affected tourist spot Kuakata. The hotel, motels and resort owners' committee arranged this event.
The main target of the festival was to attract the attention of the tourists at Kuakata and people respond positively. Thousands of tourists came in the event to join and enjoy including foreigners.
The even was inaugurated by the local Chairman. The programme started through the dance performance of local 'Rakhain' tribes. Later local singers performed on stage.
Reknowned singer Andrew Kishor was also present in the event. He performed on stage on the last day of he festival.
Banglalink announced at the closing ceremony that they are going to arrange Sagar Utshab next year there again.
Mahfuz as Tagore's Dakkhinacharan
Mahfuz Ahmed is going to act as Dakkhinacharan, one of the Tagore's characters in a drama titled 'Nishithe'.
Mahfuz said, 'In the drama I am the land lord (Jamindar) of Boranagor. After becoming ill, my wife Prothoma's nursing improved my condition but she becomes ill. I take her to Elahabad for a better treatment. But her health does not improve. The doctor tried hard but she does not recover. She died. After her death, a good relation starts growing between the doctor's daughter and me. We fall in love with each other, which ends in marriage. I come back with her at Boranogor but none take it easily. Everyone scold me, which makes me feel guilty and besides that my dead wife's memory starts making my condition worse.

A six-day long fine art show of Bangladeshi artists, along with seminar on 'Contemporary Art of Bangladesh: a view on post liberation' held in Katmandu from 20-26 March at Nepal Art Council and Light & Shade Gallery. Ambassador of Bangladesh in Nepal, H.E. Imtiaz Ahmed inaugurated the event.
The event was jointly organized by Buriganga Arts and Craft of Bangladesh and Light &Shade Gallery of Nepal.
Prof. Shashi Bikram Shah, Shankar Nath Rimal, Gehendra Man Amatya, Bangladeshi art promoter Abul Kium Azad, AMM Hasanuzzaman, Habiba Akhter Papia was present in the occasion. Besides, 7 young artists of Bangladesh also participated in a workshop under Prof. Shashi Bikram Shah at Nepal Art Council.
