Marketing Department clinched the North zone title of Dhaka University Inter-Department Cricket competition beating Public Administration by six wickets in the final at the Jagannath Hall ground on Wednesday.

DU Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr AFM Yousuf Haider was the chief guest in the day's final and later distributed the prizes.

Batting first, Public Administration scored 126 runs for seven wickets in stipulated 20 overs with Golam Hossain making 48.

In reply, Marketing Department scored the match-winning 127 runs in 19.3 overs for the loss of four wickets. Tajul Islam contributed match highest 54 runs to be adjudged man of the match.
