3 people were killed by lighnting at different places of the district on March 24.

Santash Mondal (35) of village Charlaxmipur under Kalkini Upazila of the district was killed by lightning while he was having breakfast in his house in the morning of March 24.

On the other hand, Biswanath Mondal (40) and Bakul Baroi (20) were killed by lightning while they were working in their farml and in the morning on the same day at Amgram village under Rajair Upazila of the district.
