Madaripur Thana police recovered a beheaded body of one Arif Khan (32), son of late Mati Khan of village Panchkhala of Sadar upazila from Jajira village under Kolikapur union of the district on March 24.

Sources said that some member, of Purbobangla Sharboharia Pparty called him out of a shop of Chairman bazaar on the night of 23 March since then he had been missing. On March 24 Police recovered his beheaded body from the bank of Arialkhan. The victim's wife Helena identified the body.
