Opinion sharing meeting was held at the office of Kashful, a socio-Cultural based organization of Ashulia on March 23 with a view to creating awareness among people about the environmental pollution of the area.

M Rabbi Mian, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) was present at this function as the chief guest while Office in Charge (OC) of Ashulia Police Station, M Jasim Uddin, Abdul Aziz and M Nuruzzaman were present among others. M Asaduzzaman Akash, President of the organization was in the chair.

It is said in the meeting that Nayan Juli Khal used to play a vital role to protect the environmental pollution of the area but present time the Khal, being encroached by the illegal construction, polluted the environment seriously.

M Rabbi assured that government should free the Khal from the encroachers as soon as possible otherwise the area would be unfit for living in near future.
