Poor BTV !
Thanks to BTV-the only state owned channel-for live telecasting the on-going Ispahani Tea Ireland-Bangladesh ODI series. The general technological standard of cemera work of the BTV is not that bad. But the most sad part is that BTV is using a very old software. It is so much so outdated that it could not even cover the Third Umpire review of the run-outs. Really, a poor show for the National Channel.
To that, the BTV bosses must not forget that the information technology has advanced in a nearly uthinkable state. In cricket, now the 3rd Umpire is called for giving a decision on LBWs. So, BTV should come to senses. Please get used to use the state of the art technology or else give it up. Please don't be funy.
Now come to the other part of the show.
What about the commentators? They are simply misfit guys. They talk at times that makes no sense. They talk words not related to the game. Words they use are not coined meaningfully. They talk in an artifical language mode.
They are emotionally over charged. They cannot go ball to ball - they roam in their make-belief fantacies. At the top of all they are not impartial in their out look and judgment. What they do is beating their old drums, not covering the game from the field. In fact, it is their old practice that they used to do in Radio commentary.
Would the BTV give a try to find out some new faces who can really delivery at par with the changing world ?
At the end of the day, BTV must come at par with the state of the art technology. Secondly, they should not make fun in the name of live telecasting of international cricket.
