A three-day fair was inaugurated here on Thursday with a call to boost agriculture production in the district.

The fair was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner of the District Sultan Ahmed.

A total of 18 stalls of agriculture inputs and different high yielding varieties of fruits are on display in the fair. The DC urged the farmers to boost production by properly using fertilisers as well as latest agriculture technology.

Sultan Ahmed hoped that this sori of fair will play a positive role in increasing agriculture production.

Deputy Director of District Agriculture Extension Department MA Baten, district livestock officer Nurul Islam and elite of the district town were present on the occasion.
