United Club made a good start in the Satkhira First Division Cricket league beating Rasulpur Jubo Sangha by six wickets in the opening match at Satkhira Stadium on Tuesday.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner of the district Mohammad Kafeyetullah inaugurated the league in the morning.

Rasulpur Jubo Sangha batted first after winning the toss and scored 92 runs for all in 44 overs in the 50-over-a-side match.

In reply, United Club easily reached their target making 95 runs for the loss of four wickets in 15.5 overs.

A total of 12 teams are taking part in the league.
