Exporting mangoes to Japan

Recently Bangladesh has requested Japan to lift the ban on the export of mangoes from Bangladesh to Japan.

Bngladesh being a producer of high quality mangoes is capable of exporting mangoes to Japan by maintaining export standard.

We sincerely hope that the Japanese authorities would take urgent measures to lift the existing ban on mango export to Japan and help Bangladeshi mango farmers enter into the Japanese fruit market.

Take if more seriously

The Ministry of Sports has formed a two-member probe committee to investigate the importing and marketing of football inscribed with Kalima and asked to submit reports of their findings.

In Bangladesh, formation of committee to inquiry into any unwanted development does not mean justice because no punishment is awarded in most cases. What is needed that the importer who has ventured to import football inscribed with Kalima must be brought to justice and no leniency should be shown.

So far I know there is no report of importing such football in India where the Muslims contribute just 14 percent in the total population. Then, how does an importer dare do this in Bangladesh where 90 percent populations are Muslims? We also request the probe committee to go deep into the matter as to whether it is part of the international conspiracy against Islam and against Bangladesh.

Unfortunately, nothing has happaned so far on this regard.
