The first meeting of Palashbari upazila corruption prevention committee (PUCPC) was held at the auditorium of Bishwa Shahitya Kendra of the upazila in the district on Thursday.

Presided over by Principal Hasan Azizur Rahman President of PUCPC, the meeting was also addressed, among others, by vice president Arajit Kumar Sarker, members Abdul Aziz Mondol, Mahmudurzzaman Sarker Badsha and Rezia Begum.

The meeting took elaborate programme to create much awareness against corruption among the people.

The programme include holding of rally and discussion meeting, pasting posters and distribution of leaflets at import and crowded places of the upazila.

Besides, a seminar against corruption will be arranged in the upazila every month with the participation of the leaders and the members of different professional groups.
