Rani Hamid retains national women chess title

UNB, Dhaka

Defending champion IWM Rani Hamid retained the title of the 29th Aromatic Gold National Women Chess Championship with 10 points at the Chess Federation hall room here on Tuesday.

With this win, Rani Hamid become winner for 17 times of the women national champion.

WFM Shamima Akhter Liza became runner-up while Nazrana Khan Eva of Manikganj finished 3rd in the championship. Liza earned 9.5 points while Eva bagged eight.
