Traffic on the Mirpur road has increased tremendously. College gate on the Mirpur road is an important point which connects Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, ATI, Sahrawardy Hospital complex and other govt. offices located in that area.

Everyday a huge number of people need to cross the Mirpur road to reach these organizations.

But crossing the Mirpur road at college gate area is getting risky and dangerous day by day.

Hence we would strongly urge the concerned authority to urgently install a foot over-bridge at college gate for the safety of the students, patients and common pedestrians!

Now every year 'Ekushey February' or 21st February is being celebrated as the 'International Mother Language Day' all over the world under the auspices of the United Nations. This is a great honour for our nation and homage to our language Martyrs.

It is the appropriate time the United Nations adopt Bangla as one of its official languages. We would like to sincerely call upon the UN Secretary General to please take necessary step towards recognizing Bangla as one of the UN's official languages.
