A good job indeed One Little Rock resident's organisation is making a global impact. Kawser Jamal is the founder of Change Bangladesh, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to strengthening democratic reforms and building a grassroots movement for social change in his native country of Bangladesh. Three months after Cyclone Sidr, a category 4 hurricane devastated southwestern Bangladesh by killing 4,000 people and destroying millions of homes, Jamal continues his efforts to raise and distribute money in order to meet the massive needs of cyclone-affected communities. In the midst of the ongoing recovery effort, Jamal's colleagues are affectionately calling him the Bangladeshi Barack, because, like Senator Barack Obama, Kawser Jamal is trying to educate and inspire the next generation of leaders and activists in Bangladesh by launching a new democratic reform initiative.
