Call to ensure transparency in public administration Our Correspondent, Kishoreganj Home, Shipping and Freedom Fighter Affairs Adviser Mejor General (Retd) Md Abdul Matin recently, said the present government is advancing towards attaining its goat of transfer of power to a democratic government through holding a fair, netural and credible election. Home Adviser made the remark while addressing an opinion exchange meeting with District government officials and people of different professions at local Collectrate conference hall. He said caretaker government is carrying out reforms to make the foundation of democracy stronger and pledged bound to ensure transparency, accountability and neutrality in the public administration along with infusing dynamism into its activities. The government has given top priority to ongoing Boro cultivation programme to achieve a bumper production to meet the storage of food caused by frequent natural calamities. The economic development is also directly related with an easy access to information. Md Sultan Ahamed, Deputy Commissioner presided over the meeting and it was addressed among others, by DIG of Police Md Amiruddin, Police Super Mizanur Rahman, Major Salauddin DD Agriculture Abdul Baten, Civil Surgeon Dr Abdul Haq and Press Club President Kazi Shaheen Khan.
