Bangladesh win gold in Basketball Sports Reporter Bangladesh Basketball team won the gold medal in the basketball competition of the Second Indo-Bangladesh Bangla Games when the hosts defeated West Bengal team of India by 82-68 points at the BKSP Basketball Court on Sunday. The winners led the first half 40-35. Rashed of Bangladesh top-scored with 17 points and his teammate caged 17 while Amalendu Singh of West Bengal pulled off 14.
