96 birth anniversary of Poet Nurul Amin was observed in Dinajpur recently. A discussion on poet Nurul Amin Memorial Award giving function was jointly organised by poet Nurul Amin memorial trust and daily Uttarbangla in this connection, says a press release.

The function was presided over by Siddique Gojnabi, the member Secretary of said memorial trust. Prof Md. Ruhul Amin, Vice Chancellor of Hajee Danesh Science and Technology University was chief guest there.

While Safiqul Haque Chutu, Chairman of Dinajpur Pourasava and Md. Shahjahan Shah, secretary of Nabarupy cultural society were special guest. Senior journalist AHM Abdul Bari, Commander Muktijoddha Sangsad Moksed Ali Mongolia, Prof Khayruzzaman, General Secretary of Dinajpur Press Club Md. Golam Nabi Dulal and Editor of Uttarbangla Md. Motiur Rahman were present on the occasion.
