The visiting Sri Lankan Deputy Minister of Higher Education Mohamed Mustafa, MP, accompanied by Sri Lankan High Commissioner Vadivel Krishnamoorthy called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof SMA Faiz at the Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university yesterday.

On the occasion, Pro VC Prof Yusuf Haider, Arts Faculty Dean Prof Sadrul Amin, Science Faculty Dean Prof Tazmery SA Islam, Business Faculty Dean Prof Sirajul Islam, Social Science Faculty Dean Prof Harun-or-Rashid and Pharmacy Faculty Dean Prof Md Abdur Rashid were present.

During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of admission of Sri Lankan students in Dhaka University.

They also discussed the possibilities of establishing exchange and collaborative programmes between Dhaka University and the universities in Sri Lankan.
