BDR alert to check entry of poultry birds from India

Members of Bangladesh Rifles kept vigil to prevent bird-flu along the 72 km bordering areas.

BDR sources said, the security has been tightened in the bordering areas and the members of the border guards took strict measures to check entry of eggs and poultry birds from neighbouring country.

To raise awareness about the bird flu leaflets are being distributed among the UP chairmen, members and the villagers of the bordering areas.
