Both the matches of the Metropolis Senior Division Football League ended in draw at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Stadium in Kamalapur on Thursday.

Victoria SC played to a one-all draw with Youngmen's Club Fakirerpool in the day's first match.

Towhidul Alam Sabuj scored for Youngmen's Club in the 37th minute while Arafat netted the equalizer for Victoria SC in the 70th minute.

In the day's other match, Dhaka Wanderers Club split points with lowly City Club in a goal-less affair.

Despite the day's draw, Victoria SC retained the second slot in the league table securing 15 points from seven matches, three points adrift of Jatrabari KC, which dominate the league with 18 points, also playing seven matches.

The metropolis soccer league resumed on Thursday after a three-day recess for non-availability of playground.
