Media men were yesterday debarred entry to the graft ridden Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company office in the city.

Task Force had unearthed huge unearned wealth of Titas Gas officials. It was informed on February 5 that wealth of Tk 400 crore returned by 136 dishonest officials would be deposited to the government coffer.

Restricting entry to the office Titas Gas security officials told the newsmen "formalities of checking the documents of ill-gotten wealth of the corrupt officials have not been completed." They said Task Force would inform the media when scrutiny of documents is completed.

After close investigation, the Task Force in November last year had asked 136 officials of Titas Gas to surrender their ill-gotten wealth.
