Acting Awami League president Zillur Rahman Sunday expressed concern at health condition of detained party president Sheikh Hasina.

Talking to reporters after emerging from a special court trying Hasina in extortion cases, Zillur said she is suffering from high blood pressure but doctors did not see her.

"Medicines are being prescribed on telephone but no doctors saw her," he said, adding, "This is inhuman."

Hasina was arrested on July 16 last year in an extortion case involving Tk 3 crore.
