Israel has laid electricity siege of Gaza causing untold sufferings to the people living within the territory controlled by Hamas. There is no electricity, no water, no treatment in hospitals and no food. As a result, thousands of people are swarming into the Egypt to buy essentials including water. Nobody knows how long will the world shut its eyes?

The West has done its duty asking Israel to vacate the siege and the East, particularly the neighboring Arabs, watches from the safe distance lest the West becomes displeased. The only country that has stood by the Gazans is Egypt.

There is no value of life of the Muslims to Israel. Everyday its army kills innocent Muslims and say: They (the Muslims) belonged to Hamas which does not recognise Israel and wants to destroy its very existence.

This argument is not logical. It is because Hamas is not so powerful to fight the state of Israel who unofficially possesses nuclear arsenal. A strong belief has grown in the Christian world that it is their sacred duty to protect Israel at any cost.

Therefore, whatever Israel does is legal. In contrast, whatever the Palestine Muslims do for mere survival is illegal. Peace in the Middle East is never possible unless this wrong perception vanishes from the brains of the West.

We believe in peaceful co-existence. We do not oppose the Jews as a religious community. We also agree that the Jews have right to survive, but that not at the costs of the Muslims or any other religious community. Let the world including Israel realises this simple truth.
