Speakers at a discussion here asked all concerned for improving quality and standard of education and said that there is no alternative to quality education for building prosperous nation and knowledge- based enlightened society.

They said this while addressing the discussion convened by Gangachara Upazila Education Office at the hall room of Gajoghonta Government Primary School in the upazila on Wednesday.

Chaired by Acting Headmaster of Gajoghonta Government Primary School Kamrul Alam Dudu, it was attended by Upazila Education Officer Akhtari Parveen as the chief guest and Upazila Assistant Education Officer Harisankar Sarker as the special guest .

Headmasters Abdus Salam of Mohishashur Government Primary School, Tahmina Begum of Rajbollov Government Primary School, Shafikul Islam of Shokherajtari Government Primary School, Rezwan Ahmed of Habu Government Primary School, among others addressed the discussion. Teachers of all government and registered Primary Schools of Gajoghonta and Mornea UPs in the upazila and guardians and students attended .

The speakers asked all concerned teachers to make the educational institutions as the knowledge acquiring centres for producing brilliant citizens.
