One arrested with fake Indian currency in Satkhira

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (BSS) arrested a person from Chandpur area under Devhata upazila in the district on Monday and seized 11,000 fake Indian Rupee from his possession.

The arrested person was identified as Ahmad Ali, 42, of Sakhipur of Devhata upazila.

Sources said, acting on a tip-off, members of the elite force conducted a drive at Chandpur area and arrested Ahmad Ali and seized 22 fake Indian currency notes of five hundred denomination after searching his body.
