It would be seen that nowadays the option for broadcasting a special event under 'Breaking News' is often misused or even abused!

Breaking News is a news coverage on a sudden/current event by interrupting the running or scheduled programme on a TV network. An example of a Breaking News may be 'a train disaster'.

Often some soft news are being aired under the Breaking News banner! I sincerely hope that the broadcasters will take a note of it.
