DU teachers not above laws

Dhaka University students and teachers have started to boycott classes and continuing rallies on the campus to force government to release their now detained in jail teachers and students. Dhaka university teachers and students are taking the law in their own hands. They are taking advantage of the privileges they got to be the selected few among 160 million people of the country to be in that institution of higher learning.

Due to unfair political role played by the teachers during the last 25 years of the political government, the quality of the education declined tremendously. Compared to Indian prime Universities Dhaka University education standard has declined at a deplorably low level.

Please for the sake of decency of higher education do not make the campus of Dhaka University a battle field. My utmost request to the politically inclined teachers of Dhaka University, "Please do not misuse your position and mislead the students into violence and chaos in the campus".

Let the country's legal system take its due course and decide whether the teachers and students involved in the incident of anarchy and violence in the campus are innocent or guilty"

Just because you are a teacher of the Dhaka University doesn't exempt you to be above the law. Show the people you are the moral and ethical standard bearer of the country and you respect rule of law. May the good sense prevail among all people of Bangladesh so that we can make some progress.

Climb to the top of the charts! Play the word scramble challenge with star power. Play now!
