Muslim devotees from home and abroad are pouring in to the sprawling venue to participate in the annual religious congregation. About fifty thousand musallis, who have already assembled in the Ijtema ground, on Friday offered Juma prayer at the historic Tablig Math, organisers said. Tubewells, main pandal of Biswa Ijtema Math, toilets, electricity and loudspeakers are being arranged under the management of the Ijtema organisers. Besides, members of the Armed Forces are working to build floating bridges on the Turag river. BDR, police and Ansars are also working hand in hand to prepare the Ijtema ground.
