India clinches triangular one-day title crushing Bangladesh by 137 runs UNB, Dhaka Indian Under-19 team emerged unbeaten champions in the triangular one-day series in South Africa crushing Bangladesh Under-19 team by 137 runs in the final at the Sinovich Park in Pretoria on Tuesday. Batting first after winning the toss, the Indian U-19 team posted 260 for 8 in stipulated 50 overs. Middle-order batsman S Tiwary contributed 74 runs off 88 balls featuring three fours and two sixes while M Panday scored 72 runs off 77 balls with five fours. Mahmudul Hasan claimed three wickets for 29 runs while Subashish Roy bagged two for 55. In reply, Bangladesh were dismissed for 123 runs in 23.3 overs with Mahmudul Hasan contributing the team-highest 30 off 63 balls, hitting a boundary. Ronny Talukder added another 28 runs off 36 balls with two fours and a six while opener Mithun Ali made 27 runs off 37 runs, including four fours. Hamidul Islam (11) and Mohammad Shakil (7) were the other notable scorers for Bangladesh. RA Jadeja, V Kholi and D Shivkumar downed two wickets each conceding 9, 12 and 19 runs respectively.
