"Although the fixture of the tournament is yet to be finalized, but we are trying to arrange the inaugural match between Mohammedan SC and Abahani Limited," he added.

Eight Metropolis clubs will take part in the tournament. They are Dhaka Mohammedan SC, Dhaka Abahani Limited, Muktijoddha Sangsad KC, Arambagh KS, Victoria SC, Youngmen's Club Fakirerpool, Dhaka Wanderers Club and Badda Jagarani Sangsad.
