A three-day drama festival titled 'Shokuntola Nattya Utsab' organised by Debiganj Gram Theatre (DGT) ended at Debiganj upazila town in Panchagarh here yesterday.

A total of five dramas were staged by various cultural organisations of the upazila town and noted dramatist and General Secretary of Gram Theatre Abu Bakar Siddique directed the dramas.

Joint Secretary of the Central Committee of Gram Theatre Kazi Syed Hossain Dulal was present as the chief guest in the inaugural and concluding ceremonies.

It was the ninth such festival organised by DGT at Debiganj and hundreds of people of all ages enjoyed the dramas staged in the festival, the organisers said.
