Free distribution of books among primary students across the country will begin on 1st January (Tuesday).

Divisional Commissioners at division level and Deputy Commissioners at district level will formally launch the book distribution among the students of primary school and Ibtedaie level for 2008 academic session, said an official handout.

In the three hilly districts, Deputy Commissioners and Districts Councils will jointly organise the distribution.

Meanwhile, all the books for primary and Ibtedaie levels have already reached in districts and upazilas.
