RANGPUR, Dec 11: A three-day training workshop for the journalists on 'Bird Flu and Pandemic Flu Awareness and Preparedness' concluded at Chamber Bhaban in the town on Tuesday. Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) organised the workshop with the financial assistance of UNICEF. Deputy Commissioner Khandaker Atiar Rahman was present on the concluding day as chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants. A total of 40 journalists of different print and electronic media from Rangpur and Nilphamari districts took part in the training course, reports UNB.
