Some departments and organisation of Rajshahi University (RU) is collecting money and warm clothes for Sidr affected people southern part of Bangladesh.

Public Administration Department of RU has been collecting money and warm clothes for Sidr affected people from Sunday after the decision of academic council of respective department.The department is arranging a photo gallery of Sidr affected people for collecting money and warm cloths at RU campus.

The department has already collected about about Tk. 40000 and about 3000 warm clothes .

After the routine classes 12 dedicative team of Public Administration Deptt. are working hard and soul increasing their collection at campus and city corporation area.

Chairman of Public Administration deptt. Tanzir Mosabbir hoped that ,They will able to collect about one lakh taka and five thousand warm clothes within a week. He also hoped that, Every institution will take this kind of work decreasing Sidr affected people sufferings.

Besides,Mass Communication Deptt., Marketing, English Deptt., Sociology Deptt. are collecting money for same purpose at their respective department.
