A leader of an outlawed outfit was held and three powerful bombs and one shutter-gun were recovered from Dhankhola village in Gangni upazila Friday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB held Rafiqul Islam, regional leader of Janajuddha, from Arpara at Dhankhola village in the afternoon.

Following his confessional statement, the elite force recovered three bombs and one shutter-gun near his house.

The bombs were later handed over to local police who kept these in a water bucket in thana compound for defusing it.
